Postal stationery envelope 1 Groschen with small numeral of value in size A with additional franking small shield 1/2 Groschen brick-red, 1 Groschen carmine and 2 Groschen blue, each with C.D. "MEISSEN 11.2.72" as letter up to 10 g in 2nd rayon with red handstamp "P.D." to Marseilles with arrival postmark. The stamps (postage stamp) are very well embossed and, on the 1 Groschen stamp, well perforated, the envelope with slightly patina, otherwise in good overall condition. A decorative tricolour additional franking from the Kingdom of Saxony, franked according to the postal treaty with Prussia valid only until 14.5.1872

Postal stationery envelope 3 Kreuzer without overprint in size A with additional franking of 7 Kreuzer blue, each with clear "OEHNINGEN 12.2." as registered letter with black L1 "Chargé" to Karlsruhe with issue cancellation. The fresh colours and well embossed stamp (postage stamp) is perforated as usual except for two short perf, the envelope has a small supported tear below the postage paid, otherwise in perfect condition. An attractive cross cover with scarce additional franking from the "Macklot" correspondence, certificate Dr Zill BPP (2024)

Postal stationery envelope 3 Kreuzer in size A with franking mark "KROTZINGEN 7.NOV.(72)" to Gailingen with forwarding to Schaffhausen in Switzerland with blue ink annotation on face "Schon längst nach Schaffhausen verzogen") and postage due marking "40" (Rappen) in blue (postal stationery was credited with 10 Rappen). Then returned to Krotzingen with "Return unknown" in black ink on face and presented to the Return Letter Commission in Constance, officially opened andwith pictorial stamp "ZUR ERMITTELUNG DES ABSENDERS AMTLICH ERÖFFNET DURCH DIE KAIS. OBER-POSTDIRECTION KONSTANZ" to Krotzingen with arrival postmark and sender's note on face. The envelope with small traces of transport, otherwise in good overall condition, a very interesting and scarce postal return cover, additionally with the earliest known use of this postal stationary to date
