"Proben ohne Werth - Ex preßzu bestellen": 1 Groschen postal stationery envelope with large numeral of value in size A and additional franking of 1⁄2 Groschen orange and 2 Groschen blue, each with Prussian DKr. "LUCKAU 1.8.73" and handwritten endorsements "Inliegend Proben ohne Werth" and "Expreß zu bestellen" to Berlin with arrival postmark. As the envelope was sealed, the express sample was to be treated as an express letter weighing up to 15 g, i.e. 3 1⁄2 Groschen postage paid (1 Groschen letter fee and 2 1⁄2 Groschen express fee). The value stamp of the postal stationary and the stamps are fresh colours and very well embossed, both stamps are perforated as usual and in good condition except for small corner creases on the 2 Groschen stamp. Express samples are extremely scarce, only four covers have been registered so far, all sealed and from the "Herrmann Franz" correspondence, a breast plate rarity

Postal stationery envelope 1 Groschen with large size numeral of value with two single values issue 1875 10 Pfennige red with boxed cancel "BISCHOFSWERDA 23.12.75" as postage paid additional franking as registered letter with second Registered label (introduced in August 1875, with location, Saxon type) to Breslau with arrival postmark. The value stamp of the postal stationary and both stamps are fresh colours, the stamps are well perforated and in good condition, the envelope has slightly patina, good overall condition. An exceptionally scarce, equal value currency mixed franking of postal stationery envelope small plate and Pfennige issue 1875, additionally with the latest known use of the postal stationary, in this combination a unique piece and breast plate rarity

II. 22.8.74" to Professor Friedrich Esmach in Kiel. The wrapper with traces of age, otherwise in well overall condition. Professor Friedrich Esmarch was an honorary citizen of Tönning and Kiel.

Postal stationary cover 1 Groschen with large numeral of value without overprint in size A with additional franking issue 1875 10 Pfennige carmine each with DKr. "HERRNHUT 24.12.75" as letter of 1st weight class to Basel, Switzerland with arrival postmark. The envelope with slightly traces of use (brown dot), the fresh colours and well perforated 10 Pfennige stamp with two small margin nicks, otherwise in good overall condition. A rate-compliant and very late currency mixed franking breast plate/pfennige from the UPU period, with breast plates only possible for six months from 1 July 1875 as a very rare 2 Groschen (20 Pfennig) postage paid, signed Pröschold BPP and certificate Hennies BPP (1981) as well as detailed certificate Brugger BPP (2014)
