1841/43: Covers (2) with January 1841 entire letter to Campüos endorsed "p. Correio" and rated "40" reis in manuscript, struck with circular "RIO / DE / JANEIRO" handstamp in black and 1843 cover to Ouro Preto struck with the "CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE" cds (July 11 - just three weeks prior to the Bulls Eye issue) and rated "50" reis in manuscript (ex collection K. Wittig). Small imperfections but an attractive pair.

1843 (Oct 26): Entire letter to Rio de Janeiro with mansucript "pg.60" (Pago-Paid 60 reis) and cruciform manuscript date at left (26-1843-10), struck with superb strike of framed "V. DIAMANTINA" handstamp (Ayres fig. 1524) in brown. Reverse with docketing of receipt (20.11.1843). Scarce so fine.
