China, Fascinating Picture Post Card Correspondence to Amsterdam, 1905-17. A wonderful, fully an mounted collection of 34 picture post cards spanning a 12 year period, written by Franklin Meyer, an agricultural explorer stationed in China, to his family in Amsterdam. His journeys took him to many places, and as a result there is an exceptional range of markings, passing through the British, Russian, German and French P.O.'s, plus transit markings, routings etc. Unfortunately nearly all have stamps either removed or lost, still a great study group, examine.
