Austrian P.O.'s in Cyprus 1856 (June 30): Entire letter from Larnaca to Livorno endorsed 'per via di Trieste', crossed to denote prepayment with fine LARNACA / 30.GIUG. datestamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 1) and FRANCA at left (not illustrated in T&S) both in black. Black 'P.D.' applied on arrival in Livorno (July 21) and rated in red crayon '12/9' (soldi, 12 for Lloyd + 9 for Tuscany). A fine entire that opens well for Exhibit display.
