1937 Crash mail carried by Imperial Airways flying boat "Cygnus": Cover from Bawdwin, Southern Shan State in BURMA (25. Nov. 1937) to Wimbledon, London carried by the "Cygnus" which crashed Brindisi on 4th Dec. 1937, with one KGV. stamp remaining and three stamps lost in sea water, with boxed h/s "DAMAGED BY SEA WATER", well written up on an album page. A scarce cover from one of only three Imperial Airways flying boats (Scipio 1936, Cygnus 1937 and Centurion 1939) carried mail and crashed.
