Turkey and Ottoman Territories. Forerunner letter sent from the Sardinian consul in Smyrne, dated 18/October/1828 to Marseille with seal of the Sardinian Consulate in Smyrne. On arrival was affixed a circular date seal in blue "8 DEC 1828" and only after the purification carried out by punching a similar black seal dated "12 DEC 1828" was applied certifying the successful disinfection. RARE TURKISH FORERUNNER LETTER.

Turkey and Ottoman Territories. Complete folded letter sent from Antakya on 8(20)/3/1860 to Aleppo. At the top left there are the fractional numbers characteristic of the Turkish postal transport system together with a negative rectangular seal with the date of "١٢٥٧" corresponding to 1841. UNCOMMON.

Franked by 10p green and 20p red stamp both cancelled with the very rare all in Arabic circular postmark"PAVLI 1" on ١/٤/١٣٣٢ corresponding to 3/6/1916. UNRECORDED USED ON DOCUMENT BY ISFILA CATALOG.

Turkey Ottoman, coast rated REGISTERED cover with letter sent from FENIKE, near Antalya, franked for 1P and 20 para with stamps cancelled by "FENIKIA POSTA SUBESI 1300" negative cancel in carmine (Isfila type 1 RRR, but unrecorded on cover) enriched by the small carmine negative oval seal "TAAHHUT OLUNMUSUR" (Registered) and the registration number "14" handwritten. Transit cancel of Smirne applied on 15/2/1908. A coherent cover with the previous two. CERTAINLY NICE AND VERY RARE COVER.
