31.12.1875 - last day of the breast plate period: postal stationery envelope 1 Groschen with small numeral of value without overprint in size A with clear franking mark "BERNBURG 31.12.75 11-12V" to Vaethen near Tangerhütte with arrival postmark "VAETHEN 31 12 75 8-12N". The cover has slightly traces of use and a small edge nick on the reverse, otherwise in perfect condition, a great breast plate scarce issue, certificate Krug BPP (2009). As the last breast plate issues, the 1⁄2 gr., 1 gr., 2 gr., 2 1⁄2 gr. and 5 gr. stamps aswell as the 1 gr. postal stationery envelopes and the 1⁄2 gr. postcards losttheir franking value at the end of 1875 .A few stamps of the 1, 2 and 2 1⁄2 groschen denominations and (with this letter) only four letters, all postal stationary envelopes at 1 groschen with last day cancellation 31.12.(18)75,are currently known.
