2 Schilling grey-ultramarine in mixed franking with inscription on white ground, 4 Schilling brown-ochre and SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN 1¼ Schilling green in horizontal strip of 3 (pasted back), with boxed cancel "NEUSTADT IN HOLSTEIN 6 1 67", on parcel cover (folded over at bottom to show the postage paid), with red parcel label, to Zismar. Inconspicuous folds in the stationery outside the postage paid and a small tear glued behind, otherwise in good condition. An attractive mixed franking of three different issues. 4 shillings brown ochre, horizontal pair and 2 single values, together with 1⅓ shilling pink-purple, with neatly upward and adjacent double circle cancellation "APENRADE 13 5 66" on small envelope via 'Prussian closed mail' to Orleans, Massachusetts; "10" noted on reverse as further franking. A small part of the reverse of the envelope is missing due to improper opening; the top right corner has been replaced. One value of the postage paid slightly glued around the margin of the envelope, otherwise in good condition for this destination. ½ shilling green, with upward and adjacent franking mark "REMMELS 24 11 1866" on small envelope to Hohenwestedt in the neighbourhood. On the reverse handwritten note "unversiegelt eingegangen (Unterschrift) " and remnants of the red varnish seal of the postal expedition. The stamp (postage stamp) above has a small puncture defect and is somewhat stained there.

An attractive last day letter.
