 Lot 1680 - collection of postal treaties between chile and france - Soler Y Llach Stamps & Covers of the WorldCHILE. 1848 (28 Mayo). SANTIAGO a FRANCIA. Marcas SANTIAGO/DE CHILE y FRANCIA en rojo. La carta fue enviada por el vapor ´Chile´ de la PSNC y se estampó la marca VAPOR CHILE/P al ser incluida por error en la saca que iba a Perú en vez de la que le correspondía vía Panamá. El error fue descubierto a la llegada y la carta fue devuelta a su origen en Valparaiso para circular por el vapor ´Nueva Granada´ hasta Panamá y seguir la vía normal. Pieza excepcional, se trata de la única carta conocida circulada a Europa con una marca de la PSNC. Ex. Hamilton Croaker (carta reproducida en una artículo de RPSL en 1987).
