W.I.Mail', tied in transit by London '50' numeral obliterators in black. Reverse with London transit cds (Aug 29) in red and Hamburg oval arrival (Aug 31) in black. Rated in manuscript British '2/6d.' and '44' schilling due on arrival. Illustrated in Ringström & Tester 'The Private Ship Letter Stamps of the World' on page 23. A rare and famous cover.
