Van Dieten Stamp Auctions Ltd. is pleased to announce the 628th Sale (since 1892) of more than 1,400 lots of Worldwide Stamps and Postal History, to be held at Roermond.
Over 750 collections will be offered. We have left most collections intact to make them even more interesting for buyers. Absolutely worth viewing are impressive collections of Australia, Belgium and Germany including Old States, Reich, Post Offices Abroad, Local Post.
A special session will be the offering of single lots from the Netherlands and Overseas Territories, featuring a fine selection of the Netherlands First Issue (1852).
As always there is a highly attractive session of Postal History of the Netherlands and Overseas Territories with some exceptional and very rare items. Cancellations on single stamps, covers (including pre philatelic), postal stationery, many collections and balances.

A SPECIAL STAMP AUCTION
On November 29th, 2013, Van Dieten Stamp Auctions Ltd., the oldest Dutch stamp auction company (established in 1892) will organize a special sale of the late Aat de Peijper Collection of the Netherlands. Amongst a lot of wonderful items this collection features numerous rarities of the First Issue. One of the highlights is a cover bearing 9 copies of the 10 cent, sent in 1860 from The Hague to Batavia, the capital of the Dutch East Indies. The estimate of the realisation is € 30,000 - € 50,000.
The auction will be held in the Museum for Communications (heretofore the Postal Museum) in the Zeestraat at The Hague. A highlight for every connoisseur, for those interested a revelation. Philately, stamp collection, it is very much alive!
