Colombia Incoming Mail 1831, Aug. 23. Folded cover from Jamaica to Bogotá, carried by the war frigate "Primrose" as indicated at lower left, with fine strikes of "Yslas" (denoting mail coming from the Caribbean region) & "Deve" straight-line handstamps applied in transit at Cartagena de Indias. The finest of only five letters reported with the "Yslas" postmark; this also represents the latest usage recorded. Ex Santa María.
