12 Kreuzer purple in a horizontal pair, fresh colours and very large margins on all sides, from the right sheet margin, with clear small franking mark "ANSBACH 17 11" (1870) on envelope of 2nd weight class with reverse transit postmark from Munich (and then forwarded via Switzerland) to Vannes in Brittany, with arrival datestamp of 30.11. . Reverse with small lack of opening and very slightly stained. An attractive letter with scarce postage paid and war-related redirection. Signed Brettl BPP
