1861, 3¢ lake, trial color proof on stamp paper, perf'd (Scott 66TC6), o.g., lightly hinged, very scarce stamp, with luscious rich shade, centered a bit to the top, but is overall a very pleasing example of what had been known as Scott #66 before Scott reclassified it as a trial color in the Specialized catalog, Very Good to Fine, 2001 P.F. certificate.
