1881 (Nov 15): Great Britain 1880 1 s. orange-brown, pl. 13, wmk. Crown, two examples used on 1881 double rate cover from Greytown to J. Hart the Nicaraguan Consul in London, each tied by GREY-TOWN circular datestamp (Nov 15, code B) in black. 'London / Paid' arrival cds in red at left (Dec 13). Reverse of envelope with embossed circular seal 'Nicaragua / Secretaria de Hacienda'. A few wrinkles to envelope but one of very few recorded double rate covers. Rare. Cert.
