1858: Bull's Head 27 pa. black on pink wove paper, a huge margined example of magnificent colour, used on 1858 cover from Jassy to Roman tied by neat "JASSY / MOLDOVA" circular datestamp (Aug 22) in blue. Central file fold well away from the delightful adhesive and one side flap missing but, of the 6 covers recorded from Jassy bearing the 27 parale, just this and one other bear stamps of this quality, this being the earliest recorded cover from Jasssy with the adhesive used in the third week of issue.
