Postage Dues 1899: Gunboat "Zafir", De La Die Proofs (5) in black of the frames only on glazed white card, cut down and applied to two cards, one dated between Feb 7th 1899 and Feb 17th with different pulls for the 2 m. (ink manuscript "Spoilt" across vignette), 4 m., 10 m. and 20 m.; all crossed as invoiced in red ink "March 17th 99"; and a single example for 2 m. with notation "Repeat" written on vignette in ink. All marked "120 leads & 2 extra" in manuscript. A fine and rare pair.
