1860: Envelope from Dunkerque to Armbouts-Coppel bearing a horizontal strip of four Napoléon imperf. 20 c. blue on green paper Type II, a fresh multiple with fair to large margins, tied by clear Petits Chiffres '1152' lozenge. Matching despatch cds (April 12, 61) alongside, reverse with BERGUES transit cds of the following day. Horizontal file fold away from the franking, some edge wear, nevertheless an appealing cover with an impressive multiple in this rare shade which was in use primarily in 1861. Triple letter rate which came into force in July 1854. Maury 14/IIc = € 2'000.
