1917 'Ascension' embossed (on reverse) govt. envelope addressed to N.Shields, franked GB. 1d scarlet adhesive tied by Ascension c.d.s, SG.Z40 and struck at left by scarce two lined passed censor/Ascension hand stamp, initialled alongside in manuscript. Envelope a little tired & opened out for display.
