1878, cards Willem II with "Moquette" frame: 12 1/2 C. unused mint resp. 5 C. addressed to Copenhagen w. new year greetings but not sent. Also page with original order No. 59 of govt. PT dated "Batavia, den 29sten Juli 1878." stating that "recently somebody adds an framed print around the stamps of official stationery envelopes in the same colour as printed thereon.." and that such a changed postal imprint can not be accepted as valid and all such franked letters have to be handled "ongefrankeerd".
