1863 Destination ARGENTINA: Entire from Stalybridge to Buenos Aires via Manchester, London and Calais per 'French Steamer', franked by 1862-63 1s. green (Plate 2) and 4d. pale red (Plate 3), both with small uncoloured corner letters, cancelled by numeral "502", with red circled "PP" and French maritime '24 OCT 63' Calais datestamp in blue alongside, '23 OC 63' despatch cds as well as Manchester and London transit dater on the reverse. The 1s. adhesive with a scissors cut at right otherwise a fresh and fine franking.
