1851 10c green, type IV, pos.76L1 (recut at bottom), ample margins, close but clear all around, cancelled by black straight line "Paid" handstamp, used on cover (part of backflap missing) from Dixfield, Maine to California, with corresponding departure (Oct 3) pmk alongside, minor cover wear, fine example of this rare position on cover, with 2004 PSE certificate (catalogue value is without premium for the recut variety)
