Manchurian Provinces, 1922 (Sep. 29), postage due cover from Cherdyn, Russia to Harbin, franked by Russia 2k (2) and 1r definitives, tied by bold Cherdyn c.d.s., with front showing nice strike of scarce Kharbin-Pristan (Harbin-Pier) postage due handstamp oval with manuscript "15" added (the postage due handstamp in both Russian and Chinese). Reverse then shows a gutter strip of 3 of Chinese 5¢ blue postage due, with a Russian field postmark dated Oct. 22. A rare bilingual postage due marking and colorful cover; minor opening tear at left, Fine to Very Fine.
