Israel Postal History - Scarce franking &  rate. Large size registered cover (198mm x 115mm) mailed from Tel Aviv to the USA by surface sea mail. Franked total of 85 Pr 1st air mails tabbed stamps. Tied by Tel Aviv postmarks dated July 3 1950. Rate translate to 30pr x2 double weight = 60pr plus 25pr for registration = 85pr total. New York transit & arrival postmarks on back dated July 21 & July 22 1950. Condition: 50pr stamp with few small toned spots on tab, Cover with few marginal small wrinkles otherwise F-VF .
