Graf Zeppelin Collateral: Clara Adams Handwritten Picture Postcard. From Clara Adams in Frankfurt, Apr 16, 1936, to Ernest Briggs, her public relations manager, in New York; Adams notes that "Our great ship [the Hindenburg] will take off at Friedrichshafen May 6th." and notes receiving "three cards" from Orvil A. Anderson, noted balloonist and controversial Commandant of the USAF Air War College during the Korean War. The card features a real photo of the Hindenburg in flight; also an illustrated tri-fold Flyer, published by Briggs, promoting Adams' speaking tour following her return to America on the Hindenburg, Very Fine.
