1879 Swan, 2p mauve, the celebrated Error of Color (printed in the color of 6p), unused without gum, intact perforations on all sides, fine example of this iconic stamp, with 2005 Chris Ceremuga certificate. One of the rarest errors of the Australian States that is often missing in even the most advanced British Commonwealth collections. (Nearly all unused examples are without gum, having come from a half sheet of 60 that was purchased by Stanley Gibbons in 1879)
