1844 Entire letter from a British traveller to India "FORWARDED BY/BORRADAILES, THOMPSON and PILLARS" (framed h/s on reverse) to Barnet in England, bearing black straight-liner "SHIP-LETTER", London transit and Barnet '13 NO 1844' arrival c.d.s. on the reverse. These forwarders were recorded by John Owens (Manchster Merchant) situated in Capetown.
