1854/59: 1 s. pale brownish-red, wmk. double lined 12, imperforate, a used block of thirty-two (8 x 4), with shaved margins all round, cancelled by 31 strikes of the oval "NSW" framed handstamp in black. Small repairs in the central vertical margin and ironed bends, however this is a major multiple for the New South Wales specialist - the single largest used multiple of any imperforate stamp of the Australian States recorded.
