1854 Lithographed 4a. indigo & red, 2nd printing, used cut-to-shape on 1857 cover from Secunderabad to Tottenham via Bombay and Southampton, tied by "C/56" numeral, "INDIA PAID" in crescent, boxed "INDIA PAID" and London arrival cds all in red alongside, 'Via Southampton British postage prepaid' endorsed in m/s, and on reverse with red Secunderabad and black Bombay 'March 1857' datestamps. Envelope roughly opened and slightly stained, the stamp of intensive colours with almost complete outer framelines and good.
