Royal Mail Steam Packet', with manuscript Forwarding Agent on reverse of Theodore Bahre in Mexico City (Sept 13) with red 'Franqueado / Mexico' cds on obverse. British P.O. in Vera Cruz cds (Sept 18) and London transit on reverse (Oct 26) in red and rated '2/9d.' to pay, and struck with scarce framed AMERICA PER ENGLAND handstamp in black (Van der Linden fig. 112) applied in Aachen. An unusual and very fine entire.
