In 1917-1918 there was a shortage of the 5pa stamps needed for printed matter and postal orders, so five sheets of 100 stamps of the 10pa Adrianople issue were overprinted and used in Beni-Saab during the period 27 Dec. 1917—6 Feb. 1918.
