GUADALUPE. 1854 (June 27). Cover from Pointe A Pitre with fine strike of double ring cds in black of despatch, endorsed ´Steam Packet´ at top and mss. ´Trouvé à la bôite´. Readdressed by ´Edouard Leroy / Bordeaux´ with blue Forwarding Agent´s cachet on front on arrival (July 21) and charged an overall ´30´ only after the original 12 decimes charge was paid. An unusual treatment of an overseas letter and scarce thus.
