Surcharge doubled, blue "4769" handstamp, used with Panama 1903-04 1c green pair, 5c blue and 10c orange, all tied by two strikes of "Panama, 29 Abr 1904" duplex on cover to Waltham, Mass., New York (5.10) and Waltham (5.11) backstamps; some extra gum, Very Fine.

ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THE PANAMA F10 REGISTRY STAMP ON COVER, THIS BEING THE ONLY DOUBLE SURCHARGE KNOWN.
Both recorded examples of this registry stamp used on cover are from the same sender used on Apr. 29th 1904, one to T.F. Harrington in Waltham, Mass. and the other to Frank Harrington in Troy N.Y.
