1921-29 Air mail covers nearly all to London including 1921-22 covers carried on the R.A.F Baghdad to Cairo service (3), 1927-28 covers carried on the Imperial Airways Basra-Baghdad-Cairo service (15, one from Persia; one carried on the first flight of 7th January 1927) and 1929 covers carried on the Basra to London service (3, one carried on the first flight of 8th April), also a front (faults) with the cachet "INSUFFICIENTLY PREPAID FOR / DESPATCH BY THE DIRECT / AIR MAIL SERVICE".
