VENETIAN OCCUPATION 1386-1797. EL dated "Corfu 1715/16 January 14" to Venice with manuscript "Con Cap. Caenallo". The double year is probably because of the use for Fregorian and Julian calendar. There are no rate or postal markings. RR.
EL written in "Zante*8/20 1870" to Amsterdam. Handwritten "Via Trieste", taxed with 2X5kr Austrian stamps and canc. "TRIEST*26/8", arr. "AMSTERDAM*30.AUG.70". VF and Rare.
1941 Itaca ovpt (with small "o" in "occupazione") on 40l.+50l.+2dr+5dr+7dr+10dr+15dr Historical stamps with 3 authenticity signatures. 40l.+5dr hinged, the rest used. 5dr with thin. (Hellas 177+178+180+181+183+184+185-2375E).
