1871 SUEZ - London: Cover of an Navy officer in Suez, franked with 8x 1p. rose-red plate 122 (SG.43) to pay the surcharge for officials to Great Britain via Italy. All the stamps are cancelled by "P" inside barred ovals applied in London, on back it bears 3 datestamps of London for 17 and 18/NO/71, with a minor and insignificant defect, very fine appearance, very attractive and rare postage!
