1929 (Mar 28) London to Karachi first flight cover frown as far as Baghdad and then on the first return flight back to London, with G.B 1⁄2d, 11⁄2d and 1/- tied by Oxford c.d.s and Iraq 1⁄2a, 11⁄2a and 4a tied by Baghdad c.d.s (Apr. 9), arrival backstamp (Apr. 15), fine and very scarce. Also a postcard of the De Havilland "Hercules" aircraft used on the G.B to India service. Photo on Page 171.
