1882/84: 2½ d. ultramarine, a used example on 1897 mourning envelope to St. George's, Grenada, tied by 'Tobago' datestamp (March 3) in black. Reverse with 'St. George's / Grenada' arrival cds (March 5). A somewhat surprisingly unusual destination and a most attractive cover.rn

1880 (Nov): '1d.' on vertically bisected 6 d. orange, four used examples overlapping on small part piece, left half and three right halves, each with the manuscript '1d.' ink surcharge, cancelled by "Tobago" double arc datestamp (February 6, 1881) black. Provisional Surcharges 1886 (April): "½ PENNY" on 2½ d. dull blue, an unused vertical pair of fine colour, showing the damage to the lower surcharge that led to the "Surcharge Omitted" variety, the lower stamp's surcharge with "PENNY" shaved and the "2" of "½" missing entirely, fresh and very fine with large part og. Unlisted by Stanley Gibbons but extremely rare and most unusual.

Colours Changed 1885/96: 4 d. grey, a single example used on 1887 cover to London tied by bold strike of the "A14" obliterator with 'Tobago' despatch datestamp (July 8) alongside. Reverse with Paddington arrival cds (July 25) in red. Slight flap tears not affecting the appearance, a scarce commercial usage.rn
