1909, French Offices, due 20 C. tied "PEKING 29 AVRIL 09" to ppc (Monaco, princes palace) inbound from Monte Carlo (part of Monaco) and franked with french stamps which were invalid in Monaco, commercial usage to "Mrs&Mr. Th. Piry, Inspectorat General of Customs, Peking". A. Th. Piry (1851-1918) was the first postmaster general of China 1911/15. Very unusual.
