1857-1980 Covers and cards (16), stamps and pieces (3), Parcel Post labels (3, one on piece) and a C.O.P with cancels of exhibition sites, including Crystal Palace with 1857 straight line, 1860 undated circle and 1903-12 Western entrance datestamps (5, two on parcel labels), also two 1862-67 Crystal Palace Co. envelopes; 1876 Alexandria Palace c.d.s cut to shape (the only recorded example?); Olympia with 1895 c.d.s on registered cover and skeletons on 1931 registered cover and 1933 parcel label; Earls Court; and Richmond Athletic Ground. 1908-14 Picture postcards with London exhibition cancels including 1908 (July 20) card with both Franco British Exhibition and Ballymaclinton Shepherds Bush Exhibition datestamps (a rare combination, the first example we have seen); 1908 Franco British c.d.s with £80£ year, missing time or an unpaid card to France; 1910 (Aug. 6) card with the stamp unusually cancelled Paddington W c.d.s and the Japan-British Exhibition c.d.s alongside; 1911 Crystal Palace Festival of Empire flags with codes 1-3 and the very scarce code 4; also 1909 Scottish Village, 1911 Coronation and 1914 Anglo-American datestamps. 1888 (June 28) Cover to New Zealand bearing 1887 1/- green cancelled by "GLASGOW & CARLISLE / SORTING TENDER / 159" duplex, backstamped with "EXHIBITION / GLASGOW" c.d.s and upon arrival in New Zealand. A very scarce exhibition datestamp, the cover apparently taken from the exhibition post office and placed on the T.P.O instead of being taken to the Head Office in Glasgow, the stamp therefore cancelled on the Sorting Tender. Small fault at lower right corner, otherwise largely fine, a rare datestamp on an exceptional cover to New Zealand. Photo on Page 28.

1924-25 Empire Exhibition Wembley Park machines, with a proof impression on piece dated Jan 31 1924, the lion differing from the adopted design; 1925 (May 9) cover posted on the first day of the exhibition with the machine above the 1d stamp which is tied by the exhibition c.d.s; and a postcard with BEE 1d cancelled by July 4th machine with scarce "1925" year date, only used in this format on mail from the final collection on a Saturday.
