large Crown perf 14 2d blue, plate 5, QA (blind A), centred to SW, fine and fresh, m.m. Shows 4 vertical parallel marginal (from left of sheet, misplaced to right) lines, which could indicate originating from the 30 reams of paper which were supplied without the marginal POSTAGE watermarks. SG Specialised lists several sheet positions, including PA, but not QA. See SG Spec. Vol I, page 96, right column, paragraph beneath illustration. Scarce and unusual. Cat. £2800 as normal.
