1890s Official sheet of paper with embossed Royal Arms at top with archival strikes of various h/s held by the PO inc the boxed 'Falkland Paid Islands' in black (3 strikes) & circular type in red (2), the barred oval 'FI' postmark & 'crown Registered' (2 ea), the 1891 '½d' h/s (2) & an oval 'Legislative Council Falkland Islands'. The 1869-76 Franks alone SG cat £710++ as cutouts, while covers with a single frank cat £16,000-£25,000. Amazing item of postal history for which the vendor originally paid $1300+ some years ago. (P)
