Mafeking: 1900 Baden-Powell 3d deep blue on blue, WIDE FORMAT (frame 21mm wide), tied by 'Mafeking AP 13 1900' cds on local cover to 'WA Richards, Cape Police D 2, Brickfields'. Stamp absolutely superb with perfect centring & perfs, cover sl roughly opened, but still fantastic overall condition. SG 22 cat £1500 as loose stamp & 'from x12' on cover, so cat £18,000+.
