Somalia: 1941 Mogadisciu 'British Occupation Postage' opts on Italian Africa Colonies Revenues 2L- 10L inc both issues of 4, plus 40L high value. (These opts on Italian revenue stamps, plus also on postage stamps, were prepared on orders of the South African forces that captured the region. But due to objections from London were never issued & most of the stock destroyed). VF fresh MNH. Unlisted SG, but mentioned in Robson Lowe, & fully listed in Italian & Michel cats, Sass 11-17 & 19 cat €10,200+. Almost never offered issue with the 40L especially rare, particularly MNH.
