Great Britain 1841-1970 high cat val collection in 2 s/books with 1841 QV imperf 1d brown (4) & 2d blue. 1850s QV 1d 'stars in cnrs' (50) perf/wmks. 1855 QV 6d lilac wmk Emblems (SG 68, cat £120). 1867 9d straw Plate 4 (cat £300). 1872 6d chestnut. 1876 QV 8d orange. 1883 QV 2/6, 5/-, 10/- set of 3 (cat £935) plus extra 2/6 (3, £480). 1887 QV Jubilee sets (3) to 1/- green (cat £480) plus 1½d, 2d, 6d, 9d opt Govt Parcels (£275). 1902 KEVII sets to 5/- rose (3, cat £1500) plus 10/- blue (£500) & 2½d, 3d opt Admiralty Office (£300). 1913-16 Seahorses 2/6 (6), 5/- (4) & 10/- pale blue (cat £1160). 1934 re-engraved Seahorses (£860) with 2/6 (7), 5/- (4) & 10/- (3). 1937 KGVI high val set of 6 to £1 (3, £180). 1948 Wedding £1 (£40), 1952 KGVI high values set of 4 to £1 (8, cat £200) & QEII pre-dec Commem/Pic sets in quantity, plus Machins to £1. Usual slightly mixed condition with plenty of extras (pmk interest?) with many G-F U examples seen. High total SG cat with mentioned stamps adding up to £8000 = A$14,000. (Few 1000)
