1854 QV Diadem 6d green special proof with waxed/erased UR & LR corners for security, as master PROOF sheetlet of 4, on wove paper, with m/s 'No 3' at top, plus ink formulas at base, 2 of the proofs having being excised to affix on Perkins Bacon archival pages about the colour trials. F-VF UN as made, sl imperfections as expected for a printer's working proof item. SG 89(p). The only known such sheetlet in this colour & an important item for the NSW specialist.
