1879 (26 Nov) cover from 1879 Sydney International Exhibition 'via Suez Brindisi' to Austria, 1d (11), 3d, & 4d on front or back tied by 7 strikes of RRRR rated '991' with 'International Exhibition' blue h/s & Garden Palace b/s. A little soiled, PO open 7 months. The superb Lancaster collection of Trade & Exhibitions only had 3 single stamps with numeral cancel (which together realised $720 at a Melbourne auction). The finest of only 2-3 recorded covers! Certainly unique with such a multiple franking. (P)
