GREAT BRITAIN, 1862, 3p Bright Carmine Rose, Error of Watermark, Three Roses and a Thistle (SG 76a). Plate 2, lettered T-F, unused (no gum), strong color, certificate notes peripheral staining and surface faults, all of which are quite minor
FINE. A VERY RARE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 1862 3-PENCE WITH THE THREE ROSES AND THISTLE WATERMARK ERROR.
This error can only occur on position T-F, where an extra rose was substituted for the shamrock on the normal emblems watermark.
