VERY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE RARE KING GEORGE VI ONE-POUND WITH DAMAGED VALUE TABLET VARIETY.
This so-called "white island flaw" variety is the rarest of all the King George VI One Pound Key Plates, as it only occurred on part of the 1951 printing. It is also one of the most desirable, as the flaw is one of the most easily discernible.
